I am currently in the lab concocting “MIXTAPE PROJECT VOLUME 1” and “MY INSTRUMENTALITY”. These 2 projects will basically be part of one another. I am working on the beats for “MY INSTRUMENTALITY” which is going to primarily be my promo beat CD. When that project is complete all the beats on it will be used for “MIXTAPE PROJECT VOLUME 1”. Both projects have distinct markets for which the product is for. The beat CD is for the artists (rappers and singers) so I can reach out to them and give them a taste of what I got and the mixtape will be for the music lovers so they can hear my ability to methodically put a musical product together. These 2 projects combined will showcase my beat making skills and my producer skills, 2 very distinct art forms. It is my hopes that I can combine both projects seamlessly while at the same time introducing the world to my style and new artists that have a hunger to make that REAL HIP HOP. I am not charging anyone involved in the mixtape project anything and will be providing all who participate a digital download of the project to do with as they wish. I will have physical copies of the mixtape and any artist who participates in the mixtape will have an option to purchase these from me at a wholesale price.
As an ARTIST you probably wondering “Why the hell will I work with you on this Project” well for one, I am hungry for this music, and I want to share my passion and love for music with everyone else. Secondly this is a project that I feel will bring about unity in the Underground Hip Hop Scene. “How is that possible?” you’re asking, well on this project you will be working with other artist that you probably never heard of or never worked with before and this project provides an avenue to network and collab. Lastly I will be promoting the hell out of this project for myself and everyone involved. The end goal of all artists is getting people to listen and I will use every resource I have to do just that.
